Matthew F. Nevitt, MD, specializes in disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow. He treats adults and children for fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, tendon lacerations, and nerve compression. His practice includes wrist arthroscopy, joint replacement, and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Nevitt is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and holds a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He sits on the board of Dallas Surgical Partners. He has been named to the Super Doctors® list in Texas Monthly and the Best Doctors in Dallas list by D Magazine.
Born and raised in Dallas, Dr. Nevitt graduated valedictorian at Cistercian Preparatory School. He was a Presidential Scholar at Austin College and graduated with honors in Spanish. He completed his medical degree at UT Southwestern. He is married with four children.
