O.A.D. Sports Medicine

All physicians at OAD take care of athletic injuries, but OAD Sports Medicine is a group of doctors and allied health care professionals who take care of the special medical needs of today's athlete. Our expertise encompasses the care of the recreational, high school, collegiate, and professional athlete. We understand the demands of athletic competition and will make arrangements to see the injured athlete within 24 hours, and provide a thorough examination; x-rays and MRI scan if needed. We also provide sideline medical coverage for local high school teams, semi-professional football, college basketball, and NBA Hoop-it Up tournaments.

Robert Firth, CST/CFA
	Robert Firth has enjoyed working on the sidelines of Texas high school football over the last 10 years. He has taken care of Lake Highlands, St. Marks, and North Mesquite High School. He is also a replay official for the National Hockey League based in Dallas.

Virgil Medlock, M.D.
	Dr. Medlock performed a Sports Medicine fellowship in San Diego. Team coverage has included San Diego State College, Grossmont College, University of San Diego at California, San Diego Gulls Hockey team, Christian High School Football in California and US Men's Soccer. He also assisted with the North Mesquite Varsity Football team for the 2001 season.
